We are pleased to invite interested applicants to submit an application

and proposal along with your CV for a funded research or clinical fellowship at the Mt. Sinai Hospital Department of Psychiatry for 2012‐2013. Departmental priority areas include: cultural psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, HIV psychiatry, perinatal mental health, psychotherapy, psychosomatics, resilience, and trauma. Opportunities exist for intensive training and participation in research and clinical activities. These include process and outcome research in clinical settings and participation in clinical and educational programs to acquire expertise in evidence‐supported psychotherapy treatments. Psychotherapy training is available in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Analysis System of Psychotherapy, Group Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
Decisions regarding the successful candidate will be governed by academic excellence, commitment to scholarship and dedication to developing subspecialty expertise as a practice leader. Applicants for the clinical fellowship must hold certification in psychiatry, be fully insured with the CMPA and be eligible for unrestricted licenses to practice medicine in Ontario.
