Best Accomplishment for a Fellow Award:
Awarded to the Fellow with the most significant contribution, based on submitted Annual Reports. The recipient of the award receives $500, usually presented at the annual Departmental Dinner.

Travel Award:
Up to six travel awards are available to enrolled Departmental Fellows for international or domestic travel to present papers at scientific meetings. Each award is $2,000. The applicant must submit an abstract that has been submitted for presentation along with a letter of support from their supervisor. The funds are awarded contingent on the abstract being accepted.  A confirmation of acceptance must be submitted in order to be reimbursed.

Paul E. Garfinkel Award for excellence in supervision:
This is an important award for faculty recognition and promotion.  Fellows are invited to nominate their supervisors by writing a brief description (max 300 words) of their experiences with their supervisor and why he/she deserves the award.  These descriptions or nominations have typically emphasized the ability of the supervisor to support the fellow’s professional and personal development as a clinician and/or researcher, to encourage collaboration and engagement with other scholars and/or the community, and to act as a role model and mentor.
